Commitment to sustainable tourism by 2030
Camerises Mistouk has signed the 2030 Sustainable Tourism Commitment to demonstrate its commitment to improving its sustainable development performance by 2030.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization defines sustainable tourism as "tourism that fully considers its current and future economic, social, and environmental impacts, meeting the needs of visitors, industry, the environment, and host communities."
Each year, we commit to measuring and improving our business performance using performance indicators and measurable objectives for each priority issue:
- Provide more support to staff in their integration and training in our priority issues;
- Communicate our best practices to customers;
- Improve the energy efficiency of our operations and our building;
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions from visitor transport;
- Contribute to the restoration and conservation of natural environments;
- Consolidate responsible purchasing practices;
- Improve the quality of sorting of residual materials.
